I was going to make reservations today for me and my family but after reading the reviews and about bed bugs .... FORGET IT!! Darn, I was looking forward to the waterpark, eatting lots of food / drinks and shoppin. Guess I will find another place to have fun.

I stayed at this hotel 10-27-10. My room was very clean and everything was in good shape. I read the reviews about bed bugs after booking a non refundable room. When I arrived I took the covers and sheets off down to the bare mattress. I checked very closely for any bed bugs. There were none. I slept in the bed and I can assure you that there are no bugs of any kind in the room I stayed in. Front desk staff was very helpful, a little slow but very helpful. I didn't use anything else in the hotel so I really can't comment on anything else.

I read the reviews and knew this was a kid hotel and being a weekend when kids had school off I knew the hotel would be busy so I was not upset by the excessively long wait to check in or the crowded hotel lobby. The hotel was nice and appeared clean but when I woke up I found bugs in my bed. I had never seen a "bed bug" so I goggled them on my blackberry and sure enough they were defintely "bed bugs". I contacted the front desk and they sent house keeping up right away to remove our bedding. They then attempted to remake the bed on top of the infested mattress that still had visable bugs on it. I refused to let them mentioning they should probably check the mattress first and at the very least sanatize it. Of course after this I was ready to check out and asked to speak to a manager who acted as if I was in the wrong for reporting this and advised me she would check the room and follow up with me via email (which she never did). I am not one to create a scene but I was very tempted to shout to the very crowded lobby that this hotel had bed bugs. All I wanted was for the manager to show some concern for my issue. I would not stay here unless you want to bring home a big infestation.
