  Booked hotel though travel agency and had a confirmed reservation. On afternoon of arrival, called hotel and reconfirmed reservation. When arrived at hotel less than an hour after calling hotel, was told hotel had overbooked and asked if we wanted to changed hotels despite confirming reservation earlier. They honored our confirmed reservation but this should never have happened in the first place. Will never stay here again nor recommend hotel.

  We stayed at the Fairfield in for six nights. On check-in we requested a room with a refrigerator since we have a toddler who needs milk refrigerated, and because my wife has special dietary needs. We were told that because we booked through the travel agency no changes could be made. We offered to pay extra. There were rooms available with refrigerators but we could not be moved to one, no matter what. If it were easier to cancel the reservation and find another hotel we would have. We won't stay at this property again. The rest of the staff was great and the property itself was in good shape.

  My wife and I stayed at this hotel while we were in town for a company Christmas party. The room was very nice and laid out like a suite. From the looks of everything, this is a newer hotel. It is located in a good area of Overland Park, and has lots of shopping opportunities if you are so inclined. I'll probably stay there again!
