My family and I checked in for a long weekend and had a fantastic time at the Fess Parker. The rooms are large and the property is gorgeous. The only draw back is no free Wifi.

All of the staff I came in contact with, from the front desk, to those greeting me at the entrance and helping with bags, getting me to and from the airport and wait staff in the restaurant could not have been more helpful. Obviously customer service is very important to the hotel The complimentary breakfast brunch was incredibly varied and delicious. No continental breakfast for them. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and the room was comfortable and well appointed.

I am very disappointed with my stay at Fess Parker last weekend. For the price of the room we paid for, there was no bathrobe. and incomplete sets of towels. Housekeeping was not done on time. We checked-in very late Friday night and very tired and hungry so the first thing we did was order late night room service. Also during the check-in, they forgot to give us the bar key. When we placed the order, we mentioned about the bar key and they said they will give it to us during the delivery of our food. Our food arrived without the bar key, no glasses for our can sodas and no ice. We felt for a 4 star hotel, the service and presentation should be better because we have stayed at the Westin's and Four Season's before. One thing I noticed though was there was gentleman painting outside our building, Bougainvillea, he is extremely polite.

Nice hotel, birds in the restaurant not so appealing
11/06/2009The rooms are great, overall it's a beautiful hotel. the birds flying around the restaurant area was a little disconcerting, especially around the buffet.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The carpet did smell in the room as well as outside the room. l had to have housekeeping spray it. Didn't like the fact that dogs could stay in the room, didn't know if I was staying in a room that dogs had been in. maybe that's why the carpet smelled. Over all nice hotel
