This is the fourth year I took my children to this resort, it is close to our home. Each year I am a little more disappointed. The food in the restaurants is mediocre, the service is less than stellar. Although I had good wait staff, I found the hostess to be insolent, at best. There were bell hops roaming everywhere, but not one made eye contact when I was struggling with our bags. I had to finally ask one of them to help me! The * dollar charge for w-fi, per day, is ridiculous and the small rooms have been redone to look modern, but the materials are cheap and the rooms are not clean. This resort pretends to be the Ritz-Carlton, and charges as such, but is lacking the final touches that make a hotel great versus just average. Save your money and try one of Scottsdale

I was very disappointed all the pictures were decieving. The pool was way smaller than what was pictured. The hotel itself was ok but room was also smaller than what was shown. Housekeeping ladies were awesome cleaned our room nicely. Pool was dirty and didn't looked like it was being cleaned. Won't be staying there again anytime soon.

We were very disappointed about the tidyness and comfort the room offered. We paid an averafe of $350/night and not once during our whole stay was our room vacuumed,the bathroom floor cleaned or the hallway cleaned. You could just watch the dirt accumulate!
We didn't receive the room we asked for and the staff was not very helpful about that either. The breakfast was ok,Starbucks coffee tasted like water,though,and their "or deuvres" in the evening were popcorn ,nachos and some other snack.
Very poor for that kind of money!! -

The suite was very large, but without room division. It would have been difficult if one person wanted to work or watch TV and the other wanted to sleep. Full kitchen would have been great for a long term stay.

Great Bang for the Buck
06/01/2006This is a great place to stay: great beds, lots of ammenities, location, and spacious rooms. our favorite scottsdale hotel.
