We found this hotel for be clean modern and comfortable and a very good value for the money (We opted for the prepaid rate). We chose it for our last night because it was near the airport (10 minutes or less) and we had an early flight. The staff was pleasant and helpful and spoke English. The food in the restaurant was good.The only hitch was that even though we were so close to the airport the cost for a cab was very high, presumably because Florence has an ordinace (according to the hotel staff) that sets cab rides to the airport at 20 euros no matter how close or far you are from the airport. As we had paid only 11 euros to get all the way to the hotel from the train station downtown we had expected around 8 euros or less to go to the airport. The hotel talked to tha cab company for us and they agreed to cut it to * euros but in actual fact they charged us *. This high priced cab ride is not the fault of the hotel and we got there in no time but you need to be aware so that you don't spend down your euros so much that you don't have enough for the cab ride and perhaps eats in Rome or your exit city. We do recommend this hotel. Also they are on 3 city bus lines so we were able to go into Florence in the afternoon after we checked in and get back efficiently.

great location out of the rush of Florence. Florence easily accesible by bus, a short walk from the hotel. Hotel was not where I thought it would be, so you have to take a taxi. It is a suburban hotel, that is not bad at all, since we have now been there. I felt I might have misinterrpretted the info on the travel website about this hotel's location, so double check before you book. I have traveled Europe for a month. I have stories about every hotel I have stayed in. I plan to respond to each hotel inquiry.
