Please dont scare yourself when you read all the reviews about a quotterribly rocky beach.quot The beach is indeed rocky but there are plenty of places on either side of the coral to wade in with soft sand under foot. Having been to Mexico three times prior I have to say that this beach was one of the most beautiful setting I have ever seen. There is an ample beachfront plenty of lounge chairs and palapas as well as constant drink service from two of the bars on the property. Make sure to tip a dollar for every two drinks and that ensures that the polite and friendly servers will return by the time you take your last sip. The water is unbelievably clear warm and calm. If you are a beach lover please take the opportunity to visit this beach because it looks virtually untouched rustic and is a true exotic get-a-way. The food at the Grand Sirenis was delicious and Im a picky eater. I was amazed at the amount of restaurants and options. Check out the Hibachi Grill because its incredibly tasty and affords you the opportunity to mingle with other guests. You are all seated together around the grill. The rooms are modern very large and comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable semi-firm and provide a good nights rest after playing in the sun all day. The bathroom has an opening that looks out into the room but a sliding door can be pulled across for privacy. The staff are friendly outgoing and helpful. You will love them. Dont stress about the 45 min. drive from the airport. Being in this lush tropical paradise is truly worth it. Dont forget to collect the beautiful coral from the beach!
