We were coming home from a family vacation with our two small kids. The ONLY reason that we chose this hotel was because they had a suite with 2 separate bedrooms. The adults just needed a break from sleeping in the same room with noisy kids. We arrived and within 10 minutes of being in the room (which was nice), something under the floor kicked on making a huge noise and making the entire room vibrate slightly. The room # is 213. Needless to say, we knew that we couldn't sleep through that noise so we asked about it and, sure enough, it was a water heater that cycled on and off. It isn't like they didn't know about the noise in the room. We asked to be moved but the only room available was a double with a kichenette (room 214 - Don't take it. It is at the top of the stairs to the lobby and the door keeps closing all night). It was late so we didn't want to try to move to a different hotel but it wasn't inexpensive for what I thought we got. This hotel really isn't any better than a Best Western or Clarion. The beds are hard. The walls and ceiling aren't sound proofed well so guests talking in the halls at 2 am and jumping around upstairs at midnight kept us up. The breakfast was OK but they talked it up quite a bit. Overall the staff was very nice but apologizing over and over gets old after a while. The Manager was very sorry about all our issues and offered to comp the room. I don't know if she did or not. I'm not above paying for even poor experiences (buyer beware) but I won't stay there again.

We've roomed here twice, both one night stays. The first time was in a one bedroom suite on the 2nd floor, the second time was on the 3rd floor. It was obvious the 3rd floor rooms were formerly smoking because there were burn holes in the chairs, the sofa, and our bedspread. I would stay here again but I would request to be on 1st or 2nd floor. We traveled with our 15 month old and it was great to have a room with a dvd player. Had we been staying longer it would have been great to put the kitchen facilities to use. The hotel is located around a lot of car dealerships and was very quiet, but very close by was a shopping mall and plenty of other retail stores. I was somewhat disappointed with the breakfast options but overall I would rate this a good place to stay.

This hotel is a great secret. It's a beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel at an excellent price. The rooms are big and spacious. You get a complete kitchen with utensils, full size fridge and stove/oven. The bathroom is large, CLEAN, with nice fluffy towels and name brand soaps. The bedroom is a seperate room off the living room, with its own locking door. The furniture is new and clean, the hotel is beautiful and in a nice quiet section of Madison, not far from the airport. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even better. Complimentary continental breakfast as well. We stayed here when we visited our daughter at UW-Madison. It's a straight shot, 20 minute drive to the campus. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful, clean hotel. The room was nice and big, full kitchen, and seperate bedrom. Continental breakfast hada nice variety. Both the room and hotel was very clean. The hotel is in a nice, safe, quiet area, easy to get to. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We will stay there again!

The room was clean, quiet. Through travel website the rate was really good. Check-in was very smooth and I was able to check in early (luckily they had a room available for me). Connecting the free wi-fi was a breeze and response time was reliable and fast. The beds were a little hard but that is pretty normal for hotels.
