The hotel was easy to find, location is ideal and easy to get to freeway. First impression grounds are maintained, trash recepticals available. Lobby was elegant with just the right decor. Front desk personnel was friendly and helpful but not overly done. Our room was clean and spacious. Kitchenette with full size fridge and basic kitchen necessities are convienent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that his looking for a no non-sense facility. Restaurants and shopping are near for all your needs. Tip: If you plan on cooking bring your own olive oil or cooking spray and a sponge to clean dishes.

I live in Ventura County so I know the area, the Grand Stay is clean, the staff is awesome and the complimentary breakfast is very good. There are many choices and it includes hot food. I have to say the staff added a wonderful feel. Very nice hotel.

This was our second stay at the GrandStay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We appreciated the breakfasts and cooking facilities. It is convenient to all the places we visit. My husband says it is one of the best places he has stayed. The lobby is comfortable and we like the privacy with the bedroom and the living room. We definitaly go back.

I chose Grand Stay and the reviews were right on. I was quite impressed by what I got for the price. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean. There were ample high quality bath towels available in the room (flimsy, wash cloth sized bath towels is one of my pet peeves). I liked having a kitchenette and a full-sized fridge. The breakfast was very good, and the nice person who attended to it ensured fresh bacon was always available. The icing on the cake was the tasty cookies offered in the evening. Didn't help my weight loss program, but then again I was on vacation! The hotel seemed secure and never experienced anything that made me feel unsafe (even though it is on the outskirts of Oxnard). The only slight negative was that I could faintly hear the person next door sawing some major logs. I think the guy had sleep apnea though, and probably could've used a CPAP. But I digress. Bottom line: I had a very enjoyable stay, would stay again, and I highly recommend the Grand Stay...

This was our second visit in the past 10 months for three nights each time. Nice spacious suites with furnished kitchenettes, seperate bedroom (with TV) , bathroom and living area with another TV. Friendly, helpful staff, good hot breakfast, easy to get to (just off the 101) with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Much better than just a plain motel room!
