We were promised when booking through the internet to be able to upgrade upon arival (to a lake side view / recomended) and was told upon arrival to an unsympathetic manager (at an almost empty motel) that these empty promises are made all the time and we would be charged double. Plus was wine was given for our anniversary . Breakfest was good. Also have out door car plug ins which is a plus for cold wheather. Don't know if we would stay again. Maybe their loss since we'll be staying in Duluth regularly. Will look elsewhere first. Note that stated not to talk about booking process but when told by motel manager that this happens all the time heads up.

Beautiful area on the water with access to great nightlife. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Took sunrise photos and explored the northcoast with ease. Planning to explore the northcoast or downtown area of Duluth, this place is a great start. 4 stars

I have stayed in duluth before and we didnt like where we stayed last time so we tryed this one and we had so much fun and the staff was friendly and the rooms clean and lots to do in the surrounding area like shopping and resturant and much more.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. Right on the lake and not far from the Harbor. Just walking distance from alot of great stores and restaurants.
