I reserved a room for 2 nights and unfortunely hurricane Ike occured. I call to make sure they had power a day before I was suppose to stay there. When I went to check in - they had cancelled my reservations without informing me. No courtesy call or anything. I had reserved a room for my mom for her grandson's wedding. They had no power and charged my card. I used a on line travel website to reserve the room and they said it would take a couple of weeks to credit my credit card. Dont use aol travel or dont expect Hampton Inn to call you when they cancel your reservations.
