The hotel was under renovation and the closet had no door and the tile work in the bathroom looked like a 5 year old did it. Very poor quality for a hotel of this level. In addiiton, the air conditioning was not very cold and sleeping wa uncomfortable becasue of this. Our room was above the main entrance tot he hotel where everyone apparently smoked (including the staff) so cigarette smoke BOILED into our room via the air conditioning unit. My stay was basically miserable! I was working long hours and did not want the incinveniebce of packing up and moving to a different room. WILL NEVER STAY HERE again.

We were very pleased to find the hotel had recently undergone a complete renovation. The lobby is beautiful, complete with ceramic tile including in the elevators, all new carpeting. The pool area is wonderful and was available 24 hours. The hotel staff was very gracious and friendly and accomodated our special request immediately. Home-made cookies were available daily as a surprise. The breakfast was adequate for us, though some items seemed short in supply. Overall, we were very pleased and plan on a return visit.

My family loves this hotel--we use it frequently when we come down for race meets at Keeneland (usually twice a year.) It's got a great location because it's close in proximity to Lexington or Frankfort and there are a variety of amenities nearby including restaurants (Cracker Barrel, O'Charleys, Golden Corral, Bob Evans, Taco Bell, Starbucks, etc.) and shopping (Walmart, Kohls, Kmart.) The rooms are always clean and the beds are pretty comfy. The staff is very helpful and friendly--especially at giving directions. We've stayed here 3-4 times already and haven't had a compliant yet. :)

This is the second time I've stayed at Hampton Inn -- Georgetown and I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Lexington. While the hotel isn't downtown Lexington, it's only a 10-15 minute drive from where I need to be and it's definitely worth it. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are wonderful, the beds are a dream, and the staff goes above and beyond. It's a very safe hotel in a great and convenient area. The price is always great and for the quality it's absolutely a bargain. I'd recommend this hotel to anyond and everyone and again, it is where I will book my reservation each and everytime I return to Lexington.
