This is a very nice property. It's new. The complementary breakfast was a great addition to an already low rate. Be aware of the excessive parking fee. It's cheaper to park on the surrounding streets (at meters). The staff was very professional and responsive. I'd stay there again.

We stayed one night, arriving late at night after a long day of travel. We had some trouble finding the hotel, even using our navigator, but that might have been the result of being very tired and bleary eyed. We ate dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The food was good, but pricey. The restaurant was so noisy and dim that we could hardly read the menu or converse. Not what we needed at that moment. The complimentary continental breakfast was very good. We didn't want to take a chance with the rental car by parking on the street, so we used their valet parking and paid the fee. The room was good. Now that we are more familiar with the Albany area, I probably would only stay here if I had business downtown.

The sign on the a/c unit says use the controls on the wall to regulate the room temperture not the unit itself. The wall dial does nothing but look good. Couln't sleep due to the heat. Beds were good but the room was small lacking a table and any place to have drinks & a snack, unless you want to eat & drink in your bed. Parking is in the back for $* with easy access to the lobby.Walking distance to bars & stores. A ghost town on the weekend.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The only reason this hotel is $***+ per night is because it is in the state capital of NY. If this exact hotel was located in a smaller city or town, then you would expect to pay about $**-**. When you stay in bigger cities, you are usually paying more for your location.
