Although I was only on a short business trip, my stay at this hotel made me wish that I could have stayed longer. The location is perfect--close enough to the freeway to get where you need to go, but far enough from it for it to be perfectly quiet. The hotel grounds were immaculate with extensive parking and beautiful landscaping. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff member who proceeded to check me in without skipping a beat. (Which seems to be difficult for other hotels from my experience.) The inside of the hotel was clean and, for lack of a better word, regal. After using the free wifi (which was quite fast), I needed to print a document for a meeting the next day. I headed down to the business center and printed it out without any problems at all. I stayed on the second floor, and the water pressure was perfect. On one of the shower head's settings it was actually a little too strong for my taste, but this was easily taken care of by twisting the head to another setting. The room and linens were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The TV selection was nice. After a delicious hot breakfast, I had a quick workout in the fitness center, which was a little small, but it had some nice equipment. Other than the small fitness center, I had two other slight complaints about my stay. The hallway on the second floor was uncomfortably hot (but hey, you go to the hallway to get ice anyways, right?), and since I forgot my razor at home, the razor and shave cream that I was given at the front desk were absolutely terrible.

I had a great stay at the Hampton Innn & Suites. When I checked in Katrina waas very helpful in getting us restaurant reservations at the Lodi Brewery company. There was about 15 of us staying at the hotel and we wanted a good atmosphere and the food she recommended was excellent! She was also very helpful when we wanted pool towels to bring it to the pool area promptly even though it was very cold outside- the children had a wonderful time. This is a brand new hotel in Lodi and the service is incredibly friendly. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The next time I visit Lodi, I will go to the wine country just for fun with my wife.
