We were very disappointed with the condition of the room. It didn't seem like it had been totally cleaned, the shower kept leaking, and the toilet didn't always flush. There was no refrigerator in the rooms, only in their suites. It also seemed like they weren't well staffed, so we couldn't get proper attention at the front desk, and we were always kept waiting. The positive thing about this Hampton Inn, is that it was conveniently located, and quiet.

Stayed there 8/13-15. First time in LV. Hotel was clean and well decorated. Room was a good size, king with a small sofa and chair, along with a desk. Bed didn't cause my bad back any problems. Staff was fine, great help with getting a Boulder Dam tour. Breakfast was passable, not much other than an spongy looking egg disk (not sure how best to describe it) toast, cereal and other pre-packaged food. Location is on the fringe (I didn't venture further out away from the Strip than here, but definitely looking seedier out further on Tropicana.) with about a 15 minute walk to Excalibur and NYNY across the freeway. Even with that, didn't feel unsafe. (I'm male; not sure how a single female would feel walking along the road, and under one particular overpass where the sidewalk loops around and below. I did see a couple of locals drinking under that particular bridge.) In and Out burger across the street (first time, thought it was overrated based on all the hype I'd heard) and a convenience store next door were the other food options. Better to venture to the Strip for something. If you want something just off the strip and the hustle there, this is a good place.

Everything I expected and needed for an efficient business trip. No walking thru a Casino to get to your room! The staff exceeds any expectations in freindliness and helpfulness, they are exceptional. Breakfast was fine, coffee good, only negative of the inn is that there is no food service other than breakfast. The strip is a 10 minute New York pace away by foot. Fast food available across the street, In and OUt burgers surprisingly good, convenience store next door. In a town that caters to emptying your pockets quickly, this Inn is an Oasis of sanity. Would highly recommend to business people. Only five minutes from the airport. Also, the hotel shuttle will drop you just about anywhere!
