  My family chose the Hampton Inn for our weekend in Waterville. The first room we entered smelled so bad when we opened the door, we didn't even enter. I went to the front desk to request a different room and it took 5 tries on all three floors before finding a room without a mildew smell. The kid testing the rooms with us agreed they had an issue and that it was not us. Avoid this place.

  The Hampton Inn was clean, very good bathroom, nice fitness/pool and internet access area. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Also the breakfast was nice. Probably one of the more expensive in Waterville, also probably worth it.

  My family and I stayed at this hotel for a little vacation and some shopping. It was central for Portland, AUgusta and Bangor. The room was very comfortable and nice. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We were very happy with the breakfast - enough selection for everyone. I will definitely s.tay here again
