My stay was for a visit to friends and turned out to be during the first big snowstorm of the year. The room was nice and the meals at the Hotel were good although probably more than I would have liked to spend. My one recommendation to the staff would be to let travelers know that the Hotel has covered parking in the back during difficult weather (Snow, Heavy Rain etc.). The covered parking, which I discovered a bit late allowed me to make reach my event on time as I did not need to dig out my car.

Would have given 5 stars except for one negative. There is a $10.00/day charge for internet access. There is a business center with 2 very nice PC's and printers for free however if you bring your laptop you will have to pay for the convenience of using it in your room. The hotel is very nice. Front Desk was very friendly, greating you each time you pass. The room looked like it had recently been upgraded. The bath had granite counters and a nice heat lamp in the ceiling. The shower was fantastic. Plenty of hot water and great pressure. The bed was really comfortable. Room was equiped with an LCD FULL HD TV whith plenty of channels. We had the breakfast buffet one day with made to order Omelets. A little pricey but great just the same. There was a nice equiped exercise area and pool with sauna. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again.

I found everything about this hotel to be sub-par, which I suppose makes sense considering the rate. I waited over an hour to get one round of drinks sent to my room. Front desk attendants were rude and pushy. My room had a foul smell (almost like dirty diapers). I called to complain after my stay, and spoke with a "floor manager" who was unwilling to compensate me for poor service, a smelly and outdated room, and an overall bad experience. There are several other hotels in the Hartford area with similar prices and superior service. Don't waste your time at this one.
