Beware, looks good on outside, very outdated....

We had a travel agent book this hotel for us. Very disappointed. The hotel looks nice when you check in. However, you get in the hallway walking to your room and begin to seehow outdated this hotel is. Then you get in the rooms it gets worse. The doors don't even seal, there are big gaps of light all around the jam. Carpet and furnitures is like 1970's or 1980's. Paint job needed everywhere. The staff isn't very willing to help and information about local travel and hotel amenities is lacking. When I informed them there was a roach in our room, they only said ok we will let them know, not even a sorry. Not worth the price you pay. The beds are comfortable and it is easy to get to Disney from here.

The advertisement for the Suites stated "full kitchen". I am weird in that I love to cook on vacation. There was only a stove stop with 2 eyes. There was only 1 frying pan and 1 glass pot. There were only 3 spoons. The dishwasher water was turned off and the dishwasher was very old and dirty looking inside. The toaster's adjustment knob for light/dark was broken off. The coffee pot was only a 4 cup and the button to turn it on was very difficult to press (old). There were no cutting knives, no spatula, no measuring cups. We went to Wal-mart and purchased cooking/eating utensils to use while we were there. The refrigerator was extremely small and the ice maker in it was broken (old). There were only 2 dining chairs. My husband and I sat on the sofa to eat while our girls sat at the table. On a positive note, the beds were extremely comfortable, the location of the suites was ideal. The swimming pool was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I just felt that the advertisement of a full kitchen was inappropriate. That was one thing I specifically asked about was the kitchen and a booking agent called and asked about the kitchen and they also was told it was a full kitchen.

Room was recently renovated with fresh paint and a few updates in decor. Breakfast area leaves much to be desired in areas of cleanliness, food preparation and presentation, and staff. The chairs had dried oatmeal on them, the milk dispenser needed to be cleaned (it had some ""sticky stuff"" on it), food was bland, biscuits were still cold (felt like they had just been removed from the refrigerator). The property overall is great for a place to sleep--just do not expect much of the other amenities. There are other hotel options in the SeaWorld area. If you are willing to stay just a little further away (1-2 miles) you can get better accommodations and amenities for the same price.

We booked with travel agent, but the hotel continually messed up our booking. The first night they rebooked our room and we were awakened at 3:00 am by someone else trying to come in our room. The next day our keys wouldn't work. We were scheduled for checkout on the 10th and the third time they messed up they had us checking out on the 11th. They offered no compensation for our scare the first night and the continued nervousness that ensued or about our keys that had us concerned every time we left the room if we would be able to get back in. All they would said is ""sorry"". I'm sorry but for what we paid it is not enough and we will never book with them again.
