The location is close to sea world, belmont park and mission beach, that's nice. What that map does not tell you, this a bad neihborhood, at night there was lots of activity in the street, none of it good. The accomadations were in line with the price, maybe a little better.

Despite some bad reviews, we still decided to brave this hotel. With our AAA discount, it was $* for 2 queen beds and went through Discover.com and got 5% back for using travel agency! Pros: Cheap, centrally located, very close to Seaworld, Target, Phil's BBQ, Red Lobster and all the fast food places. Supposedly had free WIFI, but I didn't ask about it. Beds were comfortable, but everyone is different with what they consider hard or soft. Refrigerator in the room. Pets allowed. Cons: Carpet was older, and not well installed, pool was not heated. The free continental breakfast was a joke, consisting of small muffins and pastries with little flavor, and coffee with powdered creamer and sugar. Don't rely on the breakfast, go down to Mcdonalds for a better breakfast. We only stayed one night and it was just a place to sleep and shower. For the price, it was what we expected. We got a room right in front of the pool on the bottom floor. We actually were able to check in early, which was nice so we could spend the rest of the afternoon at the beach. It was noisy from people in the hot tub, but once that closed at 10pm, the noise level was fine. That is, until some guys got to their room at 4:30am right next to us, banging the door open and talking loud...but that isn't the fault of the hotel now is it? Some of the reviews mentioned bad location. Well, if the hotel personal gave you directions that didn't take you the back way through the bad area, you wouldn't think that it was that bad an area. Would I come back? Yes, I probably would. The front desk was helpful in local attractions. Laundry facilities.

We had to wait 2 hrs for check-in, and the staff was not particularly friendly, however, the room was nice and there was ample free parking. I was happy to have my pet along. We will stay there again--great location near Ocean Beach.

I spent 3 nights in the hotel with spouse and 2 kids. 1) Very near to SeaWorld, SD. 2) Public transportation is available within 1-2 mins. walk 3) Hotel staffs are very good and helpful in nature. 3) Room amenities are good. 4) Small breakfast is available at counter. Microwave is available at counter 24x7. Good experience and recommened to others.
