my family & i was looking forward to this weekend together, after all the snow we had in the eastcoast this past winter....checking in only took 3 mins......& we were on our way to our room.....& lots of room....liked that there was free internet & tv ....also a few kitchen appliances....my girls had a blast in the pool......winter blues just washed away with every splash......went out later for dinner & pleasure......the staff was very nice & helpful......we also had breakfast.....was too much to choose from......pancake & eggs were made on order......delicious....check out time lasted only 1 min....what a great weekend.

We spent a week at this property and had an excellent stay. The facility is clean, well maintained and everything worked. The location is ideal for not only the sub base, but also for day trips to the surrounding communities. It is well lit, has good access and well apportioned lobby. The breakfast service is a good step above the nickel and dime cereal selections so common to the business traveler. In 6 decades of traveling world-wide, I can honestly say that I've never had a better experience in hospitality or service staff not only at this hotel but during the entire visit to Groton & Mystic.
