My family stayed at the Rancho Mirage HGI for a family medical drama during 3 different months. XYZ (hotel manager) and his staff were so accomodating and kind. Am booking to stay again. Quiet, clean & comfortable. Try the breakfast, too!

Overall, we had a good experience and with the rate we got from Travel agency, it seemed like a good value. Check-in was FAST - I stepped away for just a moment while my husband started the check-in, and by the time i returned, he alreasdy had the room assignment and the keys. The room was spacious and well-furnished; my husband especially liked the comfy reading chair. But the room smelled musty and mildewy- quite a put-off. Perhaps they have had some minor flooding in the room and things weren't thoroughly dried or replaced? The pool and jacuzzi were nice and clean, but we had two concerns: the area was poorly lit for the time of night, about 9 PM (safety issue?), and there were no clean towels in the pool area for our use. Other than these details, our visit was pleasant and I sished we could have stayed longer.

I booked to rooms for my family - tues arrive rooms smells of sewer- move the room - afternoon the kids room has roaches (3) - housekeeping comes and sprays- 10pm come in from dinner- roaches crawling in bath/room! Call front desk - we move 2 rooms to 1st floor now its 12am- go to my bathroom ROACHES in there and crickets over by the desk! The GM was arrogant, rude and ignorant. The pool was filthy, the trash in the front of where guests park had a stench - Hilton should be ashamed they have this GM representing the company. THE WORST BY FAR! We're GOLD with Hilton and have never experienced this before - Ruined our family vacation and NOTHING can make up for that! We were NOT the only complaints, woman was moving in the middle of the night as well she said her room smelled of raw sewage!!!

we stayed here for 4 days & were very happy with our stay only negative was the swimming pool too cold ,also hot pool was cold, so it did spoil our stay in that regard so hope they heat both up in April before it gets to hot.

I stayed at the hotel over spring break 2010 and to our disappointment the pool was very cold in fact my husband and I were unable to get in even once which is not what you expect in Palm Springs. When I asked the manager if the pool was heated he responded that's it's only heated in the winter. I also noticed old water damage in the bathroom above the shower. Later I experienced the ceiling leaking on me in the shower with dirty water. The window air conditioning was also very loud and woke up up several times durnnig the night. I was able to change rooms the next day but was not compensated for the first night stay in the room which was very disappointing, although the new room had central air and the bed was more comfortable. Not your average Hilton, just beware you never know what type of room you will be in.
