The Hilton was VERY nice and elegant, and we actually got more than we expected for the amount we paid per night. The room was amazing with the double-doors that opened up to the bedroom, the spacious living room, and luxurious bathroom.The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep as soon as I laid in it. The pool and jacuzzi was, by far, our favorite aspect of the hotel, and was located in the penthouse of the hotel (30th floor.) It was another nice surprise to have an entire floor solely for the pool and jacuzzi, with a panoramic view of the city and Lake Michigan. The hotel staff was very courteous (although we never got the tv fixed in our room when we requested it), and though many couples brought their children with them, it was very quiet. The Hilton is perfect for those who want to be in close proximity to Magnificent MIle. When they say it's a block away, it's literally a block away. Less than 5 minutes walking distance. I can't wait to plan my next trip to Chicago. I will definitely stay again.

I took my wife to Chicago because she had never been to the mile. The location of the hotel could not be better, and we we're right next to the lake. Never really had to use a taxi. This will be my new regular hotel that I stay in when I visit the city for non-business.

The Hilton Suites on Deleware served as a great home base during my recent visit to Chicago. I was thrilled to find the hotel so close to many of my favorite Magnificent Mile hangouts. I was more thrilled that it was so close to the beach. The rooms were very modern, large, and extremely clean. The hotel staff were friendly and the conceirge was extremely knowledgable about the bus system. All huge pluses. I would stay here again. The one downer was the Ms. Park's Tavern was no longer part of the hotel. I looked forward to eating there. The replacement was too "upscale" for my daily dining.

Our stay on Thanksgiving was our second visit to this Hilton Suites, and as with the first visit we were very pleased with the hotel's amenities and the size and comfort of the room. The hotel is in a great location, just east of Michigan Ave. and close to the lake. It also has a great top floor pool and exercise facility. As with all Chicago, central city hotels, the valet parking charge is exorbitant. However, if you do not need to have your car on call during your stay, you can park nearby and save significantly.

We stayed two nights -- 3 days -- on vacation and thought the room was perfect. Great location for walking to North Beach, Gold Coast, Old Town, Michigan Ave, Magnificent Mile, etc; with excellent access to public transportation (1 block to bus stop on Michigan (many buses), about 4 blocks to the Red Line subway), across the street from the Hancock, thirty minutes during rush hour by bus to Union Station. Room was quiet, with excellent temperature control -- I should say rooms since we had separate bedroom and livingroom, with separate TV's. We enjoyed the sizeable pool on the top 21st? floor, at dusk especially. We were allowed to check in early and the bellhop kept our bags after checkout. All the staff was accommodating and pleasant. We couldn't have been more pleased, especially given our rate of $* repaid through Travel online. Dean & Donna from Kentucky
