My fiance and I decided to stop near the airport for a romantic night away before we left the crazy continent of China. The reception was covered in dirty carpet, and as we were led to our "luxury" suite the porter dropped our bags about 3 times in the effort to get to the room. The room was nothing close to what we had payed for with no bath, no mini bar, and no king size bed!! We went to reception to say that there had been some kind of mistake and sure enough the helpfull staff there (after scrambling over the massive language barrier) upgraded us to the room they assured us we should be in. On our entry to the room it looked satisfactory with a large bed, couch, t.v. but no bath, or mini bar. surely this couldn't be our room.. surely it was. not to worry just a hot shower, get our clothes washed, check the internet and have a sleep.. Needless to say the only service that was provided there was the sleep. No internet, no washing, and NO HOT WATER!!!.. please if you are going to beijing think twice about this InTeReStInG hotel. The services they promise on their website are absolutely non-existent.
