If I had to pick an issue, is was the carpet in the elevators. They should replace that carpet immediatly. The rest of the experience, was very pleasent. Met my expectations easily. I am sure to be a repeat customer.

My family was going to be in the Portland area to participate in a sporting event. We often stay at Holiday Inn because of their consistency in service, clenliness, and value. This trip I found out how much properties in the same national chain can differ. Let me say first of all that I have never before felt the need to write any kind of review on any hotel previous to this, either positive or negative. We stayed at this property two weeks ago and I am still thinking about our dissatisfaction. The staff in the lobby were slow, not friendly, and generally seemed not "into" their job. The entire place was grime-laden and generally dirty. When we ate at the restaurant (service good, food good) we were told at the register that we could not use the "kids eat free" promotion which was advertised on the menu due only to the fact that we used the travel website when booking to receive a lower rate (my In-Laws had the same rate without using the travel website). The carpet in our room was stained, dirty and looked as if it had not been cleaned since it was installed. The absolute worst part of our stay had to do with the bath in our room. The drain was clogged and the tub started to fill with water after only 2 minutes of showering. Additionaly, the water was yellowish brownish and made for a revolting experience. Generally speaking we are easy to please, but I will not return to this hotel.

OK. I knew this was going to be interesting because I had spent WEEKS before my stay trying to call the hotel manager to book another reservation at the hotel under the same rate and reservation. WELL, my voicemails, emails and inquiries were never answered. The hotel itself was worth the rate we paid at the time, but i wouldn't spend over $* on this place. Pillows were terrible, the hotel itself smelled of mold, the front desk was BLAH, and our favorite part was that our towel rack was repaired with electrical tape. we didn't discover that till the next morning, but it was worthy of a good laugh!

Checked in New Year's eve and stayed 5 days. Came to meet a friend. Loved the Spa. Pool is cool. Room good. Dining great. They forgot to tell us about the 8th floor treat room till the end day. Staff friendly and helpfull. DJ a little to LOUD and needs more variety of music.

I stuck at the AIrport due to the weather and the hotel took very good care of me. They picked me up for free, the food at the hotel was great and the rooms was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler that is using the airport for over night accomidations.
