The hotel overall was a nice, comfortable hotel in a convenient location. The two problems we had with the hotel was the smell of the water and the shuttle. The water smells like fish when you take a shower or brush your teeth. A very fowl smell! The other complaint is the fact that the shuttle is more for the airport than downtown. Though 1 out of 3 tries we did get a shuttle to 6th St. They will call a cab for you, and it cost around $*.

I thought the location was good, it was easy to find and easy to get around in Austin from, but it was not what I expected going into the reservation. I found the room to be small and the bathroom to be extremely small. We were in the tower rooms, and they were shaped strangely and it made the room seem extra small. We could hear the people in the room next to us snoring through the night. Overall, it was a descent hotel, but not as nice as I expected going into the reservation.

When checking in, I had to wait for about 10 minutes until the room ready...it was past 3pm. The walk from the parking Garage to the main elevator is ridiculous for the price we paid. The pool is nice and somewhat private. If I were staying there again, I would choose the Lake Tower which is both closer to the parking garage and has a beautiful view! Overall I would rate this at a 6. Amenities were good, beds were clean and comfortable, but distance, wait time and view were a little shotty.

Very disappointing stay. The first thing you notice when you're in the elevator lobby is the dirty floor and STRONG MOLD ODOR. When you get to the rooms, the room also is moldy. During the night, there was a lot of action in the room next door, and the walls were VERY thin. The following night it was the room on the other side. I prayed my young daughter did not hear the noise! Nice location and very helpful staff still won't compensate for my disappointment.

Very disappointing stay. The first thing you notice when you're in the elevator lobby is the dirty floor and STRONG MOLD ODOR. When you get to the rooms, the room also is moldy. During the night, there was a lot of action in the room next door, and the walls were VERY thin. The following night it was the room on the other side. I prayed my young daughter did not hear the noise! Nice location and very helpful staff still won't compensate for my disappointment.
