We did not sleep a wink. Instead we spent the night itching. Was it the detergent or the bugs? We don't know. The breakfast had a nice selection for the price, but later on it came back on some of us. Overall, the hotel could use a good scrubbing.

I spent two nights at this hotel. The room itself was fine but I was put in a room beside the pool which was party central. The outside of the hotel is being painted so the noise of power tools all day added to the party noise at night was too much to take. The hotel's location is good, easy to and from the Interstate.

We were easily able to change room order to include microwave and refrigerator. Room was pleasant and quiet. Appreciated private entrance to pool area. Breakfast was very generous, and appetizingly displayed. All staff were friendly and eager to help make our stay a positive experience. Housekeeping was less than expected. The public area ( breakfast room ) carpet was very soiled, with coffee and food stains- needed good scrubbing or replacement. The food handlers did not use plastic gloves while refilling bowls of food. Basic hygiene rules appeared very lax.. Our room was not well maintained- had obvious heavy dust webs in cold air return in sitting area, carpet had white film all around the edges, perhaps carpet cleaner not totally vacuumed up,and small bits of paper in corners left from prior room rentals. Npt up to usual standards.

This hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! I travel a lot with my son due to sports tournaments and I loved this hotel! The rooms were huge! They were perfect for all of the sports gear and kids! The breakfast was wonderful...it was a deluxe breakfast with waffles and Sausage Gravy w/ biscuits and eggs and all sorts of stuff! I can?t wait until we travel back to Big Rapids! The staff was the friendliest and most helpful...you don?t see that much anymore. You will just love it.
