  I have been a guest at the Holiday Inn Express Antofagasta on two different occasions, both were 1 week long. Excellent accommodations, friendly staff, very clean room with the most beautiful ocean view. Walking distance to many fine restaurants, never felt worried or threatened at any time and I walked a lot at night. The mall is also within walking distance for any shopping required. Make sure you try the fruit. It is simply fantastic, especially the yellow delicious apples, probably some of the best in the world. I tried everything from the little hole in the wall to fine dining. Food is great, service second to none. I don’t speak the native language, but some restaurants have English menus and those that don’t are very helpful with pictures and excellent service staff. Michael Brummett, Lafayette, Indiana, USA
