  Not only is the Holiday Inn clean, comfortable, quiet, and courteous, but it is centrally located between the town of Athens and the shopping area along State St. Just remember that if you plan to be in Athens during any major event at the University, make your reservation months in advance!

  This new hotel is a great value. The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean. The breakfast was a typical continental buffet, but well-stocked and fresh. The location is quiet and convenient to Ohio University (5 minutes drive).

  We enjoyed this Hotel and our room - it is nicely designed and very clean. Very comfortable beds. The pool is very nice too. Great location, not far from Ohio U. (5 min drive?)
  
  We had to search for a good cup of coffee though... The hotel coffee was not great... but Starbucks is just down the street in a grocery store and the staff helped us locate it - they even called them for us to find out their hours.

  Just 5 minutes from the Ohio University campus, easy access to various highways, and located right in the middle of shopping & restaurant section of town. The hotel is brand new and I was the first in my room. Rooms are large and very well appointed with plasma TV's and very comfortable beds - 4 pillows per bed! And all this, plus a free breakfast for $* - WOW - a real bargain. Will definitely stay here again.
