Don't be fooled by the pretty exterior. We stayed for three days and had no hot water on any day. The breakfast ran out early every day, and dirty dishes and food was not cleared away. We were put in the room right next to the laundry room, which had a broken door that slammed VERY loudly. It shook our room and others down the hall. We asked to be moved, but the place was booked. We asked them to fix the door, but they ignored us. We were awakened at 6:30 by the noise of the door, and this kept up every few minutes until near midnight. It was intolerable. The bang was so severe it knocked the phone off the hook every time. We finally left two days early because we got no rest. Comfort and relaxation are more important than a pretty decor.

I have stayed at at least 5 different Holiday Inn Express hotels over the past several years. The Kalispell property is as good as any I've stayed at. It is very new or very well maintained. The room, hallways, lobby and laundry room were all very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was excellent and was usually available prior to the advertised 6:30 am serving time. The warm cookies every evening were also a nice touch. Any monor problems were quickly resolved by the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Only stayed one night. Very clean and close to anything you could need. It's not listed, but they do not have an airport shuttle. The cab ride was * to the airport. That was the only downfall to this hotel. The Holliday Inn in Whitefish does have a free airport shuttle though.
