  Due to the fact that I booked the room on Travel Website the hotel gave me a smoking room although I don't smoke. The hotel was not full but they said I could not obtain a non-smoking room. The hotel staff did not change the sheets in the room and they smelled like smoke from the last visitor. In addition, the room was not very clean and room cleaning left the lights on all day although I didn't return to the room until 8 pm most nights.

  I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it is customary to give a credit card number for ""incidental"" charges, after checking out, I received a receipt with a zero balance. When I looked at the receipt closer, I realized that I had been charged an additional fee for ""accomodations"" and charged for more tax, even though I had already paid them through online travel website. After contacting hotel management, they admitted that I was overcharged, and eventually refunded my money. The customer service skills of the management staff were less than satisfactory. If you stay at this hotel, please check your credit card statement to make sure you weren't charged additional amounts that you shouldn't be paying!

  Stayed here for a night on a long road trip. This particular Holiday Inn Express has been here for a while, but has been kept up and remodeled. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hot breakfast in the morning is always welcome. Close to major highway intersections. Very quiet. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
