We found the staff and facility to be excellent. We were able to park our car and boat and monitor from the room. Room was larger than I expected. About a 32" HD TV in the room with plenty of cable channels. Beds were firm but very comfortable. Bathroom was bright and cheery. Indoor pool was small but we still had a lot of fun splashing around after a long day of driving. Water temp was perfect. In the same area is a small exercise room and a nice sized game room. Morning free breakfast had plenty of selections and the Holiday Inn staff person was very helpful. Others have commented on the sound level, but it's from the inside. This is conveniently off Hwy 53 and there wasn't any road noise. Doors slamming and kids running were easily heard but we dropped right off to sleep anyway. There are NO restaurants or anything else around this intersection, just farmland. Eau Claire and its mall are just 10 minutes south with shopping and tons of restaurants. We ate at TGI Fridays and had a great meal with great service. Nice place, we'll go back :-)

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and updated! The only complaint I have was how loud it was. The door springs were very poor and every time someone else's door closed, it would slam shut. We constantly heard people talking, getting ice, and coming in and out of their rooms (late into the night and early in the am). The rooms are not very sound proof. While this was bothersome, I would stay there again. It was very affordable.
