One star instead of three. Tiny parking garage, very small and confusing elevators and directions in the hotel. Leaky mini fridge in room, freezing pool that was not kid friendly, no jacuzzi. Terrible pull through driveway. There were only three luggage carts for the entire hotel and the maid service used the remaining ones to haul laundry. Locked my mother in the mezzanine bathroom at 10pm. She pounded on the door until they heard her and let her out. The staff was friendly but did not solve the problems. We would NOT stay there again!!!!!!! We reccommend Coast Coal Harbour just down the street for the same price. Not even the the same league.

Room was small, dark and smelled of urine. Window would only open an inch, thanks to a unremoveable lock. Desk clerk was unhelpful, even rude.Previous posts are right about the hotel parking...ít's terrible, and not worth the extra $16.00 a night. On the plus side, food was good, and our server was excellent ! Overall...was not worth $*.00 a night.

i never been to Vancouver until early Dec this year. I heavily rely on the review to select the hotel so I also wanna offer some opinion to those who are planning to visit Vancouver. Holiday Inn is a bit far from the downtown area but the location is still okay even though its close to the Granville Street where there are heaps of vagrants and homeless on the street. One good thing is the Airport Shuttle stop is round the corner. There is free wireless internet but the speed is horribly slow. ppl staying there are friendly. The front desk staff is not vry helpful. They are just taking it as a job.
