After a flight delay we were taken to this hotel. Lobby was not too bad but the rooms were disgusting. The Whole of the hotel had a pungent vile odour so bad that my daughter was physically sick. The beds were damp and had bed bugs. The carpet was wet and the windows so dirty u could not see out. The Bathroom was mouldy and the decor very old. We did

Rooms are dark, dingy & old. Front desk staff were polite & helpful. Staff at breakfast were polite & very attentive. The shuttle service is unreliable! Take a cab if the shuttle is late. We arrived at 11pm and the shuttle driver picked us up at 12:14am. It only takes 5 minutes to get to the hotel which is a mile away from JFK or 15 minutes with traffic. If the shuttle is late, take a cab & ask for reimbursement from the hotel for the cab fare.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. There was a free shuttle that picked me up at the airport after i called, it took them less than 10 min to get to me and get me to the hotel. The check in experience was quick and efficient. i was able to check into my room early which was a huge help. The room itself was clean, and nicely appointed. The shower had excellent water pressure and was a welcome feeling. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator, but it wasn't a necessity. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bistro downstairs had terrific food and late at night which was a terrific convenience. i left my phone charger in the room plugged in, housekeeping quickly found it and saved it for me to pick up. Thank you everyone there at holiday inn for making my stay lovely.
