I stayed at this hotel the night of October 23rd-25th, 2009. The evening I checked in the front staff was very helpful. I stayed there for two nights. The room was very nice and on the third floor, non smoking floor. The mattress was very comfortable! It was a firm mattress with what seemed to be an inch or two of a latex or visco foam topper. I thought that usually the only hotel I get a mattress this comfortable is at a Hilton property. The hotel restaurant was also good, but must admit I ate there only on Sunday morning for breakfast. Saturday morning I slept late and when I went downstairs the restaurant was no longer serving breakfast. Only one problem I noticed with the property was the indoor hot tub near the pool was not working, I should say the jets in it were inoperable. It was warm, just no jets. This property was very easy to get to and park. Seemed like the interstate (I-264) to Virginia Beach dead ended at it's front steps. You could not hear any noise at this property except for the ocean waves hitting the shore and then only if you had your patio door open. I would definately stay at this property again. Highly recommended!

We had an issue with a rude guest and when it was addressed with management, we were dissatisfied with the way it was handled. The manager said, ""You booked with a travel agent so I'm not sure what you want me to do since you didnt really do business with us, you did business with a travel agent."" She offered a free breakfast which we did enjoy, but her professionalism wasn't up to par. The woman who greeted us upon arrival was exceptionally friendly and the other employees we encountered were pleasant as well.

We have gone to Virginia Beach for the past 12 years and have stayed at many of the high priced hotels. This one is a great value! The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the view is as good as it gets. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is great....we didn't have to move the car during our short stay. We will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel has some GREAT views. Look right out of the balcony to the ocean. Beach is litterally steps away, you cannot get any closer. Staff was friendly, most chatted with you in passing. Only complaint is the entrance off the beach, the key lock was broken and looked like it might have been for a while. Other than that, loved it there and will most likely be back next year.
