A little to the North of all the sites, but Porte De Pantin stop right by hotel. Lots of stores to buy drinks to save $$. Rooms were large and up to standards in USA. Staff very helpful with places to see and how to get there. Staff will call and make reservations for tours as well. Remodeling being done so place is kept up. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with a lot of choices. Only 2 tv stations in English; some hotels have 3 stations. Beds were comfortable & you can ask for different pillows (feather, etc.). Let us check in early when a room was available and held luggage when needed. Safe in room and mini-bar/frigerator. Remember to ask for non-smoking if you want it. Most of staff spoke English. Quiet rooms and location. Only one outlet to plug in electronics (in room; not bathroom).

Very large room for the price, typical quality for a three-star property. Staff was very friendly and was great with the kids. Hotel is only 50 yards from the Porte de Pantin Metro station, but at the Northern edge of the city so many of the sights are quite distant. For example, to get to the Eiffel Tower you must change trains twice and go through 21 stations. But this isn't much of a problem if you don't plan to go back to the hotel during the day. There were a number of interesting sites just across the street from the hotel but we didn't get over there in our short trip.

The hotel is located along the Metro which is very convenient. The area is across from the City of Musique as well as near a few local shops. The advertised business center was very expensive 10 euros for 30 minutes.

When I arrived I was informed that I'd have to take a smaller, smoking room when I had confirmation in hand for a larger, non-smoking room because it was Easter weekend. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and threw the papers in my face. I was polite and the other staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely not a 4-star hotel.
