I checked into my room, left, and returned later. I then discovered that the room was infested with crickets. When I told the front desk, I was told that they would have the room exterminated the next morning. Basically, they expected me to sleep in a room with noisy crickets crawling all over the place. I asked if there was another room that I could use and was told that the only room available was a double and that I would need to upgrade to stay there. In other words, I had to pay additional money to not sleep with bugs. I then told the front desk clerk that I would need to cancel my reservation. Despite never sleeping in the room, I was told that I would still be charged for that one evening. I told the front desk that I was refusing the charge, as I had not used the room and it was not up to the quality of standards anticipated. She told me that she would need to ask management in the morning. The manager never contacted me. I did dispute the charge and their claim was that I had canceled the reservation after their deadline, so that they had to charge me the full amount, despite the fact that I never slept in the room. They claimed that I should have seen the local news to know about the cricket infestation. They claimed that they offered me an alternative room, but would never admit that I was going to be charged additional funds for this solution. They also claimed that being that I had made a reservation (rather than being a walk-in guest) that I had no right to cancel. It also took the hotel over two months to even address my concerns.

The room was just as is was in the picture. King size bed and sofa bed. There was no sheets or pillows for the sofa bed, good thing i had brought some from home. Apart from that it would have been a nice stay if the room had not been infested by crickets. When we arrived at the room there was one dead cricket, we didnt think much of it since it was dead. By the next morning there was about five of them in the kitchen area and two in the ceiling by the sofa bed. My check out time was at noon but decided to leave earlier due to the crickets, didnt see a point in getting someone out there to get rid of them since i was leaving in a few hours anyway.

Horrible and disgusting are the best ways to describe this hotel!!! It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. We booked a non smoking room and they gave us a smoking room that smelled horrible, they would not change our room. The bathroom had urine on the floor around toilet. There were four of us staying in one room and we only had enough towels for two people when we asked at desk for more, they said we had to "turn in our dirty towels for clean ones"???? The worst part is when we received our credit card statement, they had charged us for an extra nights stay there, we were never able to get this resolved. Manager and staff VERY RUDE!!!!!

The hotel itself was ok, the manager was not friendly nor did he Thank us for staying with them for 9 days. They cleaned the pool in the middle of the day when their were guests who wanted to swim instead of cleaning it before the pool opened. The cleaning staff was not very thourough, not cleaning the commode daily, the shower daily and the floors were not vaccumed daily. Overall we would give the hotel a 1 for a rating and would not recommend it to other travelers.

The motel was clean and had very friendly staff. I stayed two nights. It has a basic breakfast bar. Only draw back is that the property can be hard to find. It is not on a major roadway.
