the cheapest hotel in the area.. You do get what you pay for.. If you're looking for amenities, mints under the pillow, TV with 100 channels, free breakfast etc., look elsewhere.. This is a strictly self serve place. You won't have any housekeeping unless you ask/pay for it separately. If you're looking for thriftiness, what you do get here is a large sized decent, clean room with a full size refrig, a 2 burner cook top, plenty of counter space, closet space, desk work area. Good location with plenty of retaurants, coffee shops, shopping (upscale and mid-scale). Downtown Cle is about 20 mins on the freeway. Downsides:, Internet is not free, and not very fast in peak hours (my connection averaged 12mbps in daytime and 2-5mbps at night). What does that mean? you can surf and read website contents, but streaming any video, audio etc is choppy or impossible during peak hours. There are several retail establishments less than 5 mins away with faster wireless connections, however. TV selections are limited to about 30 channels, although they do offer 3 Showtime. Bed is not particularly comfortable, and sheets are cheap and ill fitting, with a tendency to come off the mattress if you move at all during the night. Hotel is smoking and non, so if you happen to get a tenant that smokes nearby, you will smell it through the bathroom vents. Bottom line, good for the business traveler on a budget who's not going to spend a ton of time in the hotel. Bad for anyone looking for pampering on a vacation.

My first impression of the room was that it was cute. After moving in I noticed that it wasn't cleaned well. The toaster and coffee maker was dirty all over and the cupboards were sticky (and the coffeemaker didn't work, I later discovered). I was leary of using the plates and cups as they didn't appear too clean. The floor clearly had not been cleaned near the bed or in the closet as there was dirt all around those areas. When I arrived, the hallway floor was littered with small odds and ends, and when I checkd out two days later those things were still there. I will say that the microwave, refridgerator, and bathroom were all spotless. The cleaning crew apparantly focuses on certain areas and lets other things go.
When I was there, there were telephone company crews staying there, and it was noisy with lots of socializing. Felt I was in a college dormitory. Not sure if this is a regular thing. -

Like many travelers, we look for a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay without paying a fortune for an overnight stay. With this in mind, the price point and details of this hotel fit.
Review - Hotel is in a great location and I found it safe. Although I did not have a pet, I thought it was great that the hotel was pet friendly. Total cost of my stay was $100; about half the cost for other hotels in the area.
Although I saved about $100, I found the hotel room:
Pros:
1) spacious
2) comfortable bed
3) Room had fridge and stove - did not use though
4) Safe
Cons:
1) Room was not very clean - a lot dirt under the bed, light switches dirty, fridge was dirty
2) No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom - pretty standard items
3) Most disturbing thing I saw was housekeeping not changing the sheets of the rooms they were cleaning. The guy just remade the beds!
4) Decor outdated. I could live with the outdated decor if it were clean
Although I saved $ on this stay, I don't think I would stay here again because of the cleanliness issue.
