  We were overcharged, I have bad allergies and we were supposed to be in a non-smoking room, they downgraded our room from a king to a queen and put us in a smoking room. I was up until 6am, I couldn't breath, the room stunk, and I had to shower 3 times. The air conditioner did not work, the refrigerator did not work and the hotel staff was very rude and unwilling to help. This is a great location but I would not ever stay here again. There are better places to stay at comparable prices only blocks away, definitely plan early and do not wait until the last minute like I did, I hope you have a better experience!

  There were some minor inconveniences but overall, I'd give the place high marks. The rate was the absolute best in West County, the staff went out of their way to please, the room was clean and quiet, and it was within a few minutes of everywhere that I needed to be. If you're looking for the comfort of $100-$150 night hotels with feather soft comfortors, then pay the money and stay there. If you're traveling on a budget and are looking for a nice quiet place in West County, then try this hotel. I am in St. Louis fairly regularly and will gladly stay at this hotel again.

  Homesteadf St. Louis, Westport was not up to the standards that one would expect from our online travel website. The room was badly furnished with mismatached items. the dishes were at a minimum and no cleaning supplies were in the room, so we had to use bath soap. the floor (rug) was dirty and looked like only the open parts were ever cleaned. the room door did not fit so that you could use the dead bolt. the toilet sounded like a bomb going off every time you flushed. we would not stay at this place ever again. paul joachim

  The front desk clerk was not around to answer door bell. Stood in Cold for 15 minutes. Family could not dial my room, and the operator/front desk would not answer the phone at 11pm.
