Had a good stay at this hotel. The hotel is right next to the airport, but its not a huge metro area so it was still kind of sleepy around the area - not as busy as you might expect for being next to an airport. There isn't really anything around the hotel area - so if you are looking for a drug store or quickie mart or a restaurant you are going to have to drive, because there wasn't anything in walking distance. Hotel was great - during our stay they offered Breakfast and Dinner (Both hot). Large lobby seating area / breakfast area. Rooms were in great shape, very clean. Rooms were all decorated with 1920's era pictures of the manchester airport. Some were even signed by famous astronauts - which I enjoyed looking at the pics. Staff was excellent, and very helpful though out my stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, were I to have to travel into this area again. The suite rooms, had one with a king size bed, were perfect. It was really nice to have a living room and separate bed room and kitchen area. Room even came stocked with microwave popcorn for a snack! Only negative that I would mention, and it is a small one, is that there wasn't a tremendous amount of parking available at the hotel. Kind of had to hunt and peck to find a spot, and even then it was far behind the hotel. You can also sometimes hear the planes landing at the airport but you should expect that staying next to the airport. Shuttle service was very hit or miss with this hotel - so be forewarned not to rely on it if you need to be on time. Great Hotel.

This was the best stay my family and I have ever had! We do not travel much but were in the area visiting family. The staff was superb and very curtious. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Although the beds were very outdated the rest of the hotel made the stay worth while. I will be staying at this location next year again. Thanks to all.

Weekend get a way
09/08/2008Wonderful place to stay. very clean and a lot of room. i would stay at the hotel again. we have stayed at other homewood suites which had better breakfast though.
