  hotel staff is very friendly, polite and the breakfast and evening appetizers/drinks made our stay even nicer. Eating by the pool in the morning & evening made it even better.
  Hotel is close to the beach, local attractions and the Ed Smith Baseball Stadium(Cincinnati Reds).
  The double beds were not as comfortable as one would like, i suggest the queen/king bed if possible.
  We will definetly stay here again.

  The homewood suites of sarasota are wonderful! sure the suite isn't divided into rooms but it wasn't akwardly designed. the kitchenette, which was supplied with kitchen ware, dishes ...

  The HOmewood suites of sarasota are wonderful! Sure the suite isn't divided into rooms but it wasn't akwardly designed. The kitchenette, which was supplied with kitchen ware, dishes and and silverware, was wonderful for people having extensive stays. It was 15 minutes from the public beaches, it was clean and the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed a full breakfast every morning of our stay. I would definitely stay here again. this is a great place for family vacations and the cost was more reasonable than the roach motel I stayed in at tampa. It is also conveniently located near grocery stores and shopping. I have highly recommended this hotel to all my friends traveling to Florida.

  Don't expect this to be a ""real"" Homewood Suites. It is a sub par hotel, and isn't really a suite hotel. It may be more like Springhill Suites where you have one oversized room. Our tub was coming unglazed. The hall and room were very worn out. They said they only have 4 king bed rooms. The site is misleading saying the rooms are separated from the living areas. I have stayed in lots of Homewood hotels and they were very nice. This isn't.
