The hotel is charming, european in style. Rooms are decorated in warm colors, great bathrooms (small). Location is near the Accademmia but away from the hectic pace of San Marco and Rialto bridge. Offers calm and quiet yet close to all the sights. Near the Guggenheim. A lovely, inviting, clean, place with courteous staff.

We stayed at this hotel in the beginning of November2007, initially I found the front desk clerk slightly rude, but quickly realized that he was losing something in the translation (although he was fairly fluent in english.) Our hotel was up 3 short flights of stairs, we were thankful that that we didnt have to ask for bell service because our bags were up almost before we were. The room had gawdy peachy/red decor in very venetian style. it was clean and had a great vew from our tiny balcony. We opted for breakfast with the hotel which was yummy, the hotel seemed to be full of english speaking tourists from all over, which was comforting given we didnt speak Italian.
Location wise, it was slightly out of the way, but very easy to find as long was you know which vesparatto you know to take. The hotel was in quite part of Venice.
