Hotel Cervantes was excellent--the service, cleanliness, convenient location to metro and train stations. The premium room was worth the extra money because of being a bit bigger, having a full sized bath, a king sized bed and room to move around. Ask for a street front room--you can open big windows and not hear much of the train rumbles. Despite the brochure, there is no bar--they do not have a liquor license yet.

The hotel was wonderful! Near Monmartre, it is clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. Between two Metro stops (Liege and Rome), it was easily accessible. Large hot and cold very good breakfast. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our room was quite small but very clean. The Room hada safe as well as coffee and tea. Fridge too but no microwave.. Laundromat is a few blocks away if you want to wash clothes (we did). Some good restaurants in the area. Great place

My 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters and I stayed at the Hotel Cervantes for five nights. It was a great hotel. Staff very friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Spoke great English and did not laugh at our attempts at speaking French. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but small. For the few hours we slept it was great. The breakfast was wonderful and saved us lots of money and time. Traveling with two teenagers this hotel provided all we needed. close to metro stations, in a safe neighborhood, (we always were very late coming back). Can't say enough good things about this hotel and our experience. I would recommend this hotel to travelers on a modest budget.
