This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was small and cramped. The temperature in the room was really hot, and since we could not lower the temperature using the thermostat, we opened the windows for some air. But that was a nightmare as all we heard were loud noises from the mechanic place across the street. The noise would start at 7am and continue all day and into the night. It happened every morning we were there. It looked as though they were digging for oil or something. Constant noise from the drill. The view was bad - only a view of the mechanic place. The food was bad as well. There was no spa and wellness center - only an option to get a massage. The pool and hot tub were outside and it was freezing at night out there. The only good points were the free internet access, and the distance from the beach. Everything else was a travesty! I would never stay here again!

- Really _bad_ humid smell in the corridors and in the room because the air conditioning is on only if the key card is placed on the card holder inside. And the hotel was opened only 3 yrs ago!
- Room temperature; Although we kept the key card all the time in the card holder during our stay, temperature in the room was almost 25 degrees. We complained several times but in the reception they just told us that the temperature has been set centrally to 24 degrees. It was sometimes too hot to sleep in that temperature.
- Sun began to shine to swimming pool only 11am, so we recommend to go to the beach if you want to see some sunshine before noon.. -

06/18/2007Within walking distance to the beach, casino, subway. seemed to have accomodations that are common in america. fresh, clean, lovely; away from the downtown noise. would stay there again.

Rooms are very clean and modern. Hotel also has a nice pool and jacuzzi. Hotel staff are helpful, friendly, and speak English. Hotel is located close to the beach. Hotel is also a stone's throw away from the tourist bus stop called 'Bus Turistic.' This bus will take you all around Barcelona and is a convenient way to see this beautiful city. The only thing I did not like about the hotel is that they do not have a shuttle to the airport. We had to take a taxi to the airport which cost us about 38 euros.

They are currently building next to the hotel they start on weekdays at 7am the noise is very apparent. I anticipate that the building will take 2 years to complete.On the Saturday we returned after sightseeing to sit by the pool only to discover that the hotel had rented it out for a wedding party. We were advised to use the beach.Having been told that we could access the pool at any time after 4pm we arrived back at the hotel and changed only to be told to leave the pool and outside area as this was still required for the wedding party.
