Seriously, the shower heads are at 5', which means the water stream hits in the middle of your chest if your 5' 10" which I am. After a morning of acrobatic contortions to wash my hair I asked about changing to a room with a different shower set up. I was told "they're all that way".

Good place to stay
05/31/2010Hotel is clean and comfortable, friendly staff, reasonable town car service to/from airport for less than what taxi would cost, and restaurant for breakfast and lunch has good food.

DISGUSTING and DANGEROUS

This hotel was in horrible shape. This is not a 3 star hotel, more like a 1 star. We checked in on April 16.2010 and parked our car in the garage that was open to the public. There were people hanging around in the garage that were not hotel guests. There was no security in the lot. This is really dangerous. We were 2 single women and it was frightening to see a group of men hanging around in the garage. The carpet in the hallways were disgusting and covered in stains. The rooms were no better. Our lock did not work properly and we did not feel safe. The bathroom was nasty, the shower was dirty the toilet was dirty, and the floor was sticky. We then tried to get some sleep and there was a lot of noise in the halls and in the ally behind the hotel. There was a dumpster where there were homeless folks inside making noise. At midnight we went down to check on the car and there was broken glass near our car... another vehicle was broken into, and again there were men hanging around in the garage. We were scared!! We ran back up to the room and packed up and checked out at 2am we found another hotel that was not located in the dangerous part of town.

Great location, near everything downtown. We walked everywhere. Sketchy part of Belltown is nearby, but we didn't feel uncomfortable walking after dark. $* a night for parking. We arrived to find a very slow-running sink drain, but it was fixed after we notified the front desk. Shower water temperature very unstable. Clean, other than the bathroom window, which had been neglected for awhile. We notified the desk at checkout. Overall, a decent value in downtown Seattle, especially when you're only there between dinner and breakfast.
