This stay was a vast improvement of my last one. Everyone gave their best effort to see to it that I was pleased from arrival to departure. By now, the Icon had a new manager. He exercises a hands-on approach. He is a seemingly nice guy from all experiences. The entire staff has always been courteous and professional. The restaurant and bar are wonderful! Great food! Great service! The room décor is not to my taste, but you can always retreat into the bathroom into a soothing oasis.

Everything that could go wrong did! I slept in 30 degrees freezing temperature. I thought the heat would eventually kick in after turning the thermostat to over 80 degrees. No such luck. I reported it to the supervisor on duty. It took hours for the repairman to arrive. Once he did, it was unfixable! The room had absolutely no heat! I was moved to a suite that did not have a secure safety lock. Upon this discovery, it was immediately repaired. By now, I was worn out and sick from the cold. If that were not enough, I had to fight, “tooth-and-nail”, to get this situation resolved to my satisfaction!

Overall is a nice place to stay. Good food. The hotel staff is highly friendly. The only thing that I didnt like was the room decorations. So many colors and different patterns that does not match. Sometimes it feels a little uncomfortable. Too much going on. Besides that everything else was an unforgettable experience.

My wife and i stayed at the Icon for one night we wish we had more time would have stayed longer. The room was great and the free shuttle via mercedez benz was awsome our driver PJ was always there when needed. Front desk check in was normal, but fast delivery of our car at check out was great. The shower was a big as my "wifes office". Rooms were clean and quite. The beds were VERY comfortable.
