The elevator was not working for the whole three days of my stay. No one was available to help me and my bags up 3 flights of circular stairs. I am 65 years old but apparently this was of no interest to the prison guard who manned the front desk. There was no bellman or even a janitor to help. On top of that, the toilet didn't work properly. I was shown by the maid how to turn it off the water at the wall!

Stayed 1 week. Staff was helpful (during the day). Ask for a room not facing ""courtyard."" Bring your own toiletries. Close to Metro, but don"t expect ammenities here. It was a bit warm with no A/C.

Stayed at this hotel for a week. Just 2 blocks from the metro ""st paul"" Great location. But the hotel is quite run down, rooms are clean. area is noisy. beds are wirery, and pillows are flat. Water is very hot, but no water pressure. Rooms are very small. Staff speaks basic English. Keys must be left @ desk. No frills breakfast is 5 euros in a cave in the basement."
