The hotel has a nice location with friendly staff and all the basics (free internet, laundry room, breakfast). But the room was a bit run down. Pay a little extra if want a better room, but go for this if want a decent stay at good value.

We picked here because of price, which was great. Very resonable. Perfect location, since the night we were staying we were attending a concert in Halifax, and shopping the next day in Dartmouth. Bed was a little uncomfortable, the shower didn't cooperate very well and was pretty tiny, but other than that all was well. Would stay here again for sure!

I have stayed better places for less cost
10/04/2008Lobby is locked after 11:00 pm , rooms are old but clean. plumbing is noisy. shower is small and will scald you if someone in a near room flushes.

Our room had a moldy dank heavy musty basement smell that we never quite got used to. Everything felt wet. The hardwood floors were cold and turning up the heat didn't make any difference. The two small lumpy pillows we had between the two us didn't cut it and the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Our room had a moldy dank heavy musty basement smell that we never quite got used to. Everything felt wet. The hardwood floors were cold and turning up the heat didn't make any difference. The two small lumpy pillows we had between the two us didn't cut it and the bed wasn't very comfortable.
