It is a three star hotel and service is really a three star - Over all hotel is clean but we had a funky smell from our bathroom through our entire stay. The breakfast is just okay. On our last day, the hotel ran out of breakfast food and we had to wait for over an hour for the delivery truck to come and deliver the food. When breakfast did arrive, it was all frozen - the lines for the breakfast were always huge. The pool is way too small - I would recomend for the amount of money that you be spending to stay at this place, find a better hotel with an indoor pool.

We had a great trip staying at the Hyatt Place. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We made use of the shuttle to Universal and Epcot. The Universal shuttle was direct and quick. The shuttle to Epcot is only about a 12 mile trip but the ride took 1 1/2 hours because it stops at every other hotel in the area too. Next time knowing this we would definitely spend the little extra money and take a cab. Breakfast was good and my kids made use of the pool. The review said heated pool but it was definitely cold. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend the Hyatt Place.

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed in in years. We got a beautiful, family sized room, that accomodated our family of five nicely. 42" high def tv, two double beds and a fold out couch. The continental breakfast was great, with lots of options. We could walk to Universal Studios theme parks or take the free shuttle. Nice pool. The staff were exceptional. Extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for more and the price, as part of a travel agency package, was reasonable.

I am not sure how I got so lucky finding this hotel, but my family will always stay here every time we visit Orlando!! From the moment we walked into the hotel, starting with the staff, all the way to the rooms/service/pool/closeness to Universal Studios, it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel was extremely clean, the most accomodating and so close to many attractions!! Thank you for making our quick trip the best!!! Because the hotel was such a great deal, and although you can actually walk to the park, I would still spend the money for parking. Just in case its so hot, or after a long day of fun, or if it rains, its worth the parking.

We would absolutely choose to stay here again! It was convienient to attractions, clean, friendly, and roomy. All staff was very welcoming, courteous and helpful. Room was large enough for family of 4. Liked their 24 hr "snack bar", had a lot more than just snacks. Easy check-in/out, very helpful and nice.
