This hotel was clearly set up for business meetings rather than a family vacation. The wet bar would have been enhanced with a microwave. The fan would not stay on so the room was stuffy. We removed a wad of hair from the bathtub drain the first night we stayed so that the water would drain. The water pressure was low and the internet service ran slowly. The room was clean and the hotel staff were friendly when we arrived late. The continential breakfast was well stocked and the staff was helpful. This hotel would fit the needs of a business traveler more than a vacation traveler.

took my sister for a getaway to phoenix for sun and adventure. regarding the hotel: the good: rooms are quite large; we had more space than we needed staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous parking was easy; plenty of close spots hotel is basically in the heart of phoenix, so its a quick drive to everything. oh, the continental breakfast is quite good and filling. the bad: the pool !! the photo listed is a stock photo from somewhere. the pool is why i picked this hotel. but, it's not the one in the photo. its a very tiny pool on the south end of the hotel and is outside. there's only a handful of tables, also. that was a HUGE disappointment. the location is not that convenient; there's food and other establishments close by, but not that i would want to walk to, which means you'll be driving for errands. lastly, it's right on top of Interstate 17, so you'll hear road noise most of the night and day. oh, and not a big deal, but there's no vending machines; everything is bought from the front desk/lobby downstairs.

We showed up to check in on March 27th with a confirmed reservation from our online travel website for a room with 2 dbl beds . We were told because we didn't book through their web site or reservation ctr. we were only gaurantted a room and not a specific type. When I said that I had checked their web site and the price was almost dbl. the manger lied to my face in front of my children. He told us he didn't know what we paid for our room. When I pointed to his computer screen with the price and informed him his statement was not true he just closed the computer screen. We booked a room at another hotel.

It was a Pleasant surprise to find this hotel for this price. I was greated with a friendly face after a long day and a long flight. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time we stayed we there. Room was clean and big enough for the 5 people we had staying. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel.
