For our Disney/Universal/Discovery Cove vacation, we got 2 rooms, one with a king size bed, the other with 2 double beds (these two make a king). I only saw the king size bed-equipped room, but I stayed on the double bed one. Beds, pillows were comfy, A/C worked wonders, TV works great (for an additional charge, you can play preloaded games provided by the hotel. Good for kids! Didn't try it, though). Room is spacious. All lighting worked on the entire room except for one of the two desk lamps between the beds. (It's a double lamp). Single lamp was more than enough. The alarm clock's loud. We had a table for eating with 2 chairs and a desk for working with a laptop with 2 3-pronged plugs provided on the base of the desk lamp and a nice executive-style seat for it. The fridge and microwave worked as advertised, and the ice machine on our floor also worked great. We did use all that. We had Pizza Hut deliver to our room, but we had to go to the first floor to get it due to the elevators requiring a room card to call them (adds to the privacy). Cups, Ice carrier, a coffee maker and coffee were provided in the room as well (didnt touch the coffee machine). Bathroom-wise, towels, soap, shampoo, iron, hairdryer were provided and restocked as they were used every day. Hot water was GREAT. Shower fixture was kinda wobbly but that's it. Room was fixed up every morning while we were out. A safe is provided. Room cards worked every time. View was nice. Staff was friendly. Didn't get to use the pool nor eat at their restaurant (time constraints on our part :P). Excellent location for parks! Would definitely stay again!

A good average hotel. It is located on the North end of I drive. If you are looking for a place that's cheap and in close proximity to everything this is the place. There is a nice pool along with good customer service. The rooms seemed a bit old and the bathrooms did too. You get what you pay for here. The hotel is located in a less scenic section however. Behind you is the freeway and in front are a number of different beer stores, cheap convinient stores and a couple street vendors. If you are looking for a place with a resort feel i would not recommend this place. This would be a perfect place for thrifty college students. The hotel is also currently being remodeled wich I found to be somewhat of an inconvenience. I would only recomend staying here if you are on a budget. If you are than this place is more than suitable. I did however change hotels to Marriots Grande Vista and that hotel is flawless thus far.

I stayed at this property for business in early February, in what appeared to be a low-activity season. Check-in was uneventful, with friendly and accommodating staff. While the property is visibly on the old side, the room decor and accessories were reasonably up to date. Located on the top floor, my room was quite spacious, and the view was lovely. It didn't take long to encounter the first inconveniences. On the desk, a lamp with two power outlets provided a place to plug in my computer and phone. However, neither of the outlets worked reliably; I had to move heavier furniture out of the way in order to work. With maintenance staff unable to find a replacement, I was unable to get a lamp with outlets that worked. On top of that, the iron in the room was unreliable, making that task take far longer than necessary. Having lost considerable time overcoming the room's inadequacies, I ordered food for delivery. However, since the building elevator requires a room key, I had to come all the way down and walk (in the torrential rain) over to the registration building a couple of hundred yards away to retrieve the order when it finally showed up. Finally, the entire 14-story complex seems to have but a single luggage cart. With the hotel obviously understaffed, waiting for help to arrive was not an option, so I had to carry everything down from the 14th floor in three separate trips, turning departure into a 45-minute workout. Not what one hopes for on the way out to a business meeting. As a business traveller, my overall experience was somewhat frustrating, and I would not recommend this property. As a holiday traveller, the series of inconveniences would most likely have only qualified as a quirky nuisance.
