Everything was OK with our stay. The hotel is just off I-35 but our room was toward the back and there was no highway noise. Everything was clean and in good repair. I had no complaints.

I booked a room here because of the affordable rates. I ordered a double bed, non-smoking room a month in advance. When we arrived at 4:30pm we were unable to check in because the cleaning staff hadn't cleaned any rooms yet. The rooms are supposed to available at 1:00pm according to the confirmation email I received. That should have been plenty of time to have a room available. So the lobby worker took my phone number and said she would hold my double bed non-smoking room and call us when it was available to check into. So we left the hotel to explore 6th Street. I finally received a phone call at 6:30pm telling us our room was available. When we returned to the hotel at 12:00am after a night on the town, the worker at the lobby said we were LUCKY to have this room open for us as the hotel was booked full. I told her luck should have nothing to do with it as I booked my room a month in advance and came to check in at 4:30pm. She told us "That room better be good enough for you because there is nowhere else for you to go." I scoffed and told her I hoped it was too. We ended up with a SMOKING room! It stunk and there were nasty cigarrettes still on the carpet from the previous guests. The next morning I went to complain and I was told that someone else probably complained about their room so they got my Non-Smoking room. I reminded them of their 100% guarantee but was told that only applied to being guaranteed a room, not the room we necessarily ordered. So after more complaining the Manager on staff gave a coupon for a free night anywhere else.

If you want fluffy towels don't stay here.

My room was not ready untill a hour later. I made reservations 2 months ago. No microwave, no fridge, lights between the beds did not work. I wanted my money back but I had to through citires.com IT WASNT FORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Housekeepers didnt speak good english. You had to walk to the lobby to use the little tiny microwave. I have stayed at other hotels same price but offer much more than this blank!!!!!!!!!!! We were told maintance was bringing a fridge and microwave never seen it.
